Craft shelf :)
All it took was a few 'magazine organizers' (2 for $2.99 at IKEA) and a $5.99 cookie jar from Walmart to gain back control of Nolans craft supplies.
I should have taken a before picture, imagine with me coloring books, crayons, and little random projects scattered (more like strewn) in a pile on the shelf...
Just trust me when I tell you it was one hot mess...
Happy Monday :)

Winter Inspiration
Today, I want to post an idea that I borrowed from kellehampton.com.
I totally LOVE her blog and recommend it because she is an amazing photgrapher and inspirational mother. But be warned!! It's addicting :) in a good way.
She posted a picture a few months back of a craft she created with thick twine and kids mittens.
So we decided to replicate the look and here is what we ended up with. Along with a bunch of make-you-feel-good compliments.
We found the gloves for a $1 each at Jo Anns and the twine was $6 for a large spool, which we have used in various other projects so it's definitely worth it!
And as naptime is approaching, I will leave you with this quote:
"Disect a mother's heart and see that the properties it doth contain- what pearls of love, what gems of hope. A mother's heart beats not in vain." Caleb Dunn
Oh, and this :)
Happy Thursday.

Changes :)
It's been far too long since I have made an entry on here.
So many things have changed.
So much life has happened!
Our baby bear is 18 months old!
And he has developed a slight obsession with trains, or better known as, 'tsains'!
We have also enrolled him in swim lessons at the YMCA, which will definitely come in handy as we cross a few things off of our bucket list this summer (hint, hint)!
He loves the 'awe-ter, awe-ter' & could splash around for hours.
And now for some slightly messy news, we have decided it's time to introduce... dun, dun, dun.... the potty seat! Because, Friends, if I have to continue changing diapers much longer, I WILL lose my mind :) That is a promise.
I have some fun crafts I'm getting ready to share :) Keep coming back, there will be updates!
